Hi, I’m Emily!
I am currently a MCB senior and researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After graduation, I will be entering a 2-year post-baccalaureate program at the National Institutes of Health for scientific training. My overall goal is to pursue admission to an MD-PhD program–dedicating my career to serving others and driving meaningful advancements in the research community as a physician-scientist. Outside of working, I enjoy ideating creative ways to conduct science outreach for underserved populations and investing my time in the hackathon community.
Feel free to check out my blog here where I write about the life of an aspiring physician-scientist alongside topics in biology, medicine, and their respective tech counterparts.
